Time for Input!
Ok everyone, as we approach our Christmas gathering, I was wondering if anyone would like to sign up for meals. We would like to know what day/time you anticipate arriving at the coast, and what meal, if any, you would like to be responsible for. You don't have to know exactly what you want to prepare just yet, but if you do know, go ahead and include it. I think it worked well last year to have a small group of people in the kitchen preparing meals at a time and then we can all contribute the extra holiday snacks and goodies. Start thinking about it and I will send out an email soon to start organizing everyone's ideas. We are looking forward to this year's celebration!

How about letting Grammy and I bring crab and smoked salmon and some other goodies for appetizers along with beer and wine. You all are much better cooks when it comes to the meals. Love, A.Chris
Second thought we could do a Crab Louie (like last year) for lunch on the 24th. Love, A.Chris
Crab Louie sounds great! Would anyone like to collaborate with me on a meal that includes homemade sauerkraut?
Cam and I are up for butternut squash lasagna for a meal, if that sounds good this year ;). Jennie, we will be there the whole weekend, so put us down wherever you think it fits best.
Amy and I would love to make posole (traditional christmas time soup) for a dinner or lunch!
I have started a spreadsheet- keep the ideas coming.
We will bring bacon and eggnog.
I will make a Hungarian soup, and a noodle dish to go with the homemade sauerkraut
Also, I will bring fruitcakes, breads, eggs, coffee, cream and sugar. Also, apples and oranges

We are planning on heading down on the 22nd, I am not sure what days we have rented the place for, but we will arrive either at night on the 22nd or whenever everyone else arrives.
I guess we'll be heading down Friday and leaving Monday.
